A30 diversion routes as police incident closes road both ways near Redruth

Motorists are being diverted around a road closure on the A30 in Cornwall this morning (Friday, January 10). The road is shut in both directions due to a police incident.

The closure is in place between the A3047 near Pool and A3047 near Redruth. At the time of writing (8.30am), police officers are at the scene and the road is expected to be closed for a “considerable” amount of time.

Drivers are being diverted away via the A3047 in both directions. Traffic monitoring site Inrix is warning that delays are building on diverting routes.
