Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after a supermarket staff were allegedly threatened with a screwdriver during a robbery. A man was challenged by security after he reportedly took several items without paying from Aldi, in Stechford.
He brandished a ‘screwdriver and waved it around’ when approached by security. He then left the store.
The incident happened between 7.30pm and 8pm on November 26, 2024. Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to contact police.

West Midlands Police said: “Recognise this man ? We’re looking to speak to him after a robbery in Birmingham.
“Between 7.30pm and 8pm on 26 November, a man stole a number of items from Aldi in Stechford Lane. When challenged by security, he produced a screwdriver which he waved in the air, before leaving the store.
