BBC crews will be in Coventry over the coming weeks. A letter sent to locals, seen by CoventryLive, has shown filming will take place at various locations across the city.
The first filming is set to take place next week. The letter says it is for an existing BBC drama, but does not name which one.
Various locations in Coventry have featured in Phoenix Rise as well as the Stephen Knight drama This Town in the past. There have been four dates announced for filming.

The first is on Friday (January 24) in the Tile Hill area. The letter states that filming will take place both inside and outside of a property.
It warns that police have been made aware, saying: “The local police have been informed as some of the scenes involve marked police cars and actors in emergency services uniforms.
“There will also be scenes with fake weapons.” It adds that ‘filming in progress’ signs will be placed around the area.
“We appreciate we are working in a residential area, we will endeavour to keep all noise and disruption to an absolute minimum,” the letter adds. Crews will then return to the area on Monday, January 27 and Tuesday, January 28.
Then, on Monday, February 3, filming will take place at another property in the same area of the city. “We will be filming scenes inside and outside of the house which involves fake armed police with fake weapons entering the house,” the letter explains.
“There will also be a scene that takes place next to the road.” The crews will then move to other locations, again where there will be actors dressed in police uniforms with fake weapons, including close to a bus stop.
The letter concludes by thanking residents for ‘their support in the production.”
