A Birmingham man is among three people arrested after a gang ‘smashed a window’ to steal a BMW. Police were alerted to the incident near Cannock Road, in Acton Trussell this weekend.
A resident reported a group of men had smashed one of the property’s windows and taken the keys to a BMW X2. The men got into the car and drove it away during the incident, which happened at around 1.35am on Sunday, January 5.
Staffordshire Police officers arrived to look for the car, which was then spotted in Holdiford Road, Stafford. One of the men inside fled to a waiting Peugeot parked nearby, but the car “quickly stopped for officers.”
