The cause of the death of a woman who was found deceased at a property in Leicester remains “unclear”, police have said. Emergency services were called to an address in St Austell Road, Thurnby Lodge, at around 3.40am on Sunday (January 12) where the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination has been carried out on the unnamed 33-year-old, but has proved inconclusive. Further tests will now be carried out to determine the exact cause of death, police said.
Two people, a man and a woman, were arrested in connection with the incident. Leicestershire Police said yesterday (Monday, January 14) that the 29-year-old man had been released on police bail while investigations continued. The 37-year-old woman who was also arrested has been released with no further action.
