Police investigating an alleged botched raid on a shop in Glasgow have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
Detectives continue to probe the alleged attempted robbery on Budhill Avenue in Shettleston. Police said the man, pictured wearing a yellow hi-vis jacket, “may be able to assist with enquiries”. The incident occurred around 8am on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
The man was described by police as being between 40 and 50 years old, wearing a yellow hi-vis with a black band on the bottom. He was wearing blue Under Armour jogging bottoms.
Police urged anyone with information to get in touch. In a statement, Police Scotland said: “The man pictured, or anyone who recognises him or has any information, is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0528 of 10 December 2024. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give information anonymously.”
