A woman was taken to a Glasgow hospital after four were evacuated from a fire in Clydebank this afternoon (January 10).
The fire, at a flat on Burnside Court off Scott Street, Dalmuir, broke out around 2.50pm. Four people were checked over by paramedics at the scene for smoke inhalation.
A woman was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Police said she was conveyed to hospital “as a precaution.”
Emergency services remained in attendance around 6.15pm. Police taped-off Scott Street following the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 2.50pm on Friday, 10 January, 2024 we were made aware of a fire at a flat at Burnside Court on Scott Street, Clydebank. Emergency services are in attendance.
“Four people were checked at the scene for smoke inhalation and a woman has been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precaution. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
