A man has been charged after two women were allegedly attacked in Coventry. Police were called to Upper Park in Willenhall yesterday morning (January 15).
Officers rushed to the scene and found that two women had been assaulted. Neither were believed to have been seriously injured.
Hope Nwachukwu, from Coventry, was arrested and later charged with two counts of assault, West Midlands Police said. He appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (January 16).

No pleas were entered. Nwachukwu, 47, will next appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 12.
In a statement to CoventryLive, West Midlands Police said: “Hope Nwachukwu, from Coventry, has been charged with two counts of assault. He appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today (January 16).
“Nwachukwu is next scheduled to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court in February. It comes after two women were assaulted yesterday morning (January 15) near Upper Park in Willenhall.”
