A 36-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Haringey yesterday (Monday, January 13) has been named and pictured for the first time. Gregory Castillo Volquez, father-of-two, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Castillo Volquez was treated for stab wounds in Tiverton Road after officers were called to reports of a fight at around 5am. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.
One 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene, while a 23-year-old woman and two men, aged 20 and 23, were arrested nearby. All remain in custody under suspicion of murder. A post-mortem is due to take place on Thursday.
Photos from the scene yesterday showed a forensic tent in place and a large police cordon.

Detective Inspector Jim Barry, who is leading the investigation, said: “In the early hours of Monday morning, two children tragically lost their father. Our officers acted swiftly and arrested three men and one woman on suspicion of murder. They remain in custody.
“We recognise this is a worrying time for those in Haringey and residents can expect to see more police in the area while we conduct our enquiries.
“If anyone saw this senseless attack, or was nearby, please come forward and speak to our officers. We are particularly interested in any mobile phone footage from around the surrounding area.
“Our thoughts remain with Gregory‘s family, who are being supported by trained officers at this heart-breaking time.”
