We are heartbroken to share that David Harvey sadly passed away on the 22nd of December 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. David worked as an osteopath on Kingston Road in Willerby, where he was deeply respected and loved by his patients. He retired earlier this year, leaving behind a legacy of care and compassion. A man of many talents, David spent 60 years as a professional musician, performing with some of the biggest names in the industry. Until recently, he could still be found playing the drums on Wednesday nights at the Hessle Ex-Service Men’s Club. He was also a Tai Chi master and taught classes at Ellerker Village Hall, inspiring many with his wisdom and dedication. David was a devoted husband, a proud father of two, and a cherished grandfather. Known for his kindness, and sharp sense of humor, he touched countless lives and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. We invite all who knew David to celebrate his life at a funeral service on Thursday the 9th of January, at Haltemprice Crematorium in Willerby. The service will begin at 10:30am. In his memory, a donation box for Macmillan Cancer Support will be available after the service for those who wish to contribute. David’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in our hearts forever.
