Death Notices
On 21st December 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, aged 88 years. Much loved Wife of 65 years to Peter, dearly loved and deeply missed Mum of Andrew, Michael, Wendy and the late Phillip. She will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends. A service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held at 12.30pm on Wednesday 22nd January at The Tower Hill Methodist Church, Hessle, followed by a private committal. Passed away peacefully on 23rd December 2024. Aged 90 years. Much loved Husband of Yvonne. Dearly loved Dad to Paul, Karen and Daughter In law Karen. Neil passed away peacefully, at Castle Hill Intensive Care Unit on 22nd December 2024, aged 63 years. Beloved husband of Teresa. Loving dad to Natalie, Mark and in-law Vicky. Much loved grandad to Sophie, Lacey, Aisha, Zenaya, Arya, Koa, Denika and Kai. A special thank you, to all the staff at Castle Hill Hospital who cared for Neil. A celebration in honour of Neil’s life, to be held at 3.30pm on Monday 20th January, at Haltemprice Crematorium. Barrie Seymour Pool 09/05/32 – 26/12/24 With deep sadness, we announce that Barrie Pool died peacefully on 26th December 2024, at Hesslewood House Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of Alma Jordan Builders. The much-loved husband of the late Sybil Pool, Barrie was the dearly loved father to Philip and Sheila, devoted grandfather to Jennifer, and cherished great-grandfather to Henry. He will be greatly missed by his loving sister Gela and in-laws Brenda, Stuart, and Sam.
