A learner driver has failed their test in spectacular fashion, after ploughing their car into a set of traffic lights and causing the lights to fall to the ground. Cambridgeshire Police officers were called to the crash in Impington on Monday morning (January 6).
Nobody was injured in the incident, though it is unlikely that the driver or the examiner will be quick to forget it. A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson quipped: “Sorry, but it’s a fail on this occasion!”
They continued: “We were called to Impington this morning after the driver of this vehicle, who was reported to be on their driving test, crashed into a set of traffic lights. No one was injured… apart from pride maybe.”
