A shocking image shows a car after it crashed into the side of a post office in East Lothian.
The incident, that took place at 11.30am Thursday January 9, shows the front of the vehicle badly crushed at Tranent Post Office.
Liquid can be seen running from the car onto the pavement as shocked passersby look on.
The airbags within the vehicle look as though they have been deployed and it is not known what level of damage the Post Office building sustained.

A barrier, which runs along Church Street and the junction with the High Street, looks as though it has been completely destroyed with one of the barrier poles visibly sticking up in front of the rear passenger door.
Motorists have experienced disruption when travelling up Church Street towards the High Street meanwhile locals have been advised to avoid the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Emergency services are currently in attendance in the Church Street area of Tranent following a one-vehicle crash which happened around 11.30am.
“Church Street is partially closed however public transport can still pass through.
“Locals are advised to avoid the area in the meantime.”
