An Edinburgh man returned from his holiday to find his bike had been stolen from secure underground parking.
Jack Campbell came back to his flat in the city on January 6 to find the bike gone, and the lock had been cut through. After posting online, he discovered someone had seen a duo wheeling it away on Saturday afternoon.
Jack then spoke to QPark QuarterMile, where the bike was locked up, who showed him CCTV footage of two people taking the bike away. He’s now appealing with locals to help him get it back.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Jack said: “It was left in the secure underground parking in QPark QuarterMile, underneath my flat.
“I found the bike missing and the lock cut through on Monday morning after being on holiday. Someone else on social media said they saw the bike being wheeled away by two guys on Saturday afternoon just by the blood donation centre and snapped a picture of them.

“With that info QuarterMile security were able to find them very quickly on their cameras. They think they’ve seen the same guys around before so most likely local people.
“It’s a black/yellow Specialized Tarmac SL4 full carbon road bike. It has some identifying features, namely the straight “Prime” race bars and the black/gold bar tape.”
