Greggs opened a brand new shop in Edinburgh on Thursday, January 9, creating 14 new jobs for the area.
The shop is located at 42 Gyle Shopping Centre, joining over 2,500 other UK Greggs locations.
Greggs is moving into the space previously used by Bank of Scotland many years ago.
It will join the shopping centre’s existing eating options such as Costa Coffee, Baguette Express, and Subway.
The new Edinburgh storefront will stock Greggs favourites, such as the on-the-go-retailer’s popular Sausage Roll, and Steak Bake, in addition to a range of over ice drinks including Cloudy Lemonade and Iced Mocha, which are only available in limited shops across the UK.
Vegan friendly options are available for Veganuary – like the Spicy Vegetable Curry Bake – among a lineup of other vegan-friendly treats like the iconic Vegan Sausage Roll, the Vegan Sausage Breakfast Roll and the Southern Fried Potato Wedges.

Those looking for a bite to eat in the evening can enjoy hot food such as Southern Fried Chicken Goujons, Potato Wedges and a variety of pizza slices including Margherita, Pepperoni, Spicy Mexican Chicken, Spicy Veg and Pepperoni Hot Shot.
After 4pm, customers can pick up any pizza slice with any drink from just £2.85 instead of the usual £3.50.
The Edinburgh operates with the following hours:
- Monday – Saturday: 7am-7pm
- Sunday: 8am-6pm
