First look at new ‘double shop’ at Coventry’s Central Six Retail Park

A first look has been given for a new ‘double shop’ at Coventry’s Central Six Retail Park. What was the former American Golf branch is set to become two new places to visit.

Plans to subdivide the unit into two have already been given the go ahead. In one of the units will be a Costa coffee branch.

In the other will be the travel firm TUI. An application was submitted to the city council asking for the green light for the signage for the company.

Within the application is a mock CGI of what the unit will look like. TUI signage can be seen at the front with the Costa signage at the side.

The application, which is officially for advertisement consent for internally illuminated fascia and window vinyl, has been given consent. But there are a number of conditions.

This includes ensuring that any advertisements displayed, and any site used for the display of advertisements, shall be maintained in a condition that does not impair the visual amenity of the site.
