This is the first picture of a dad who died after a hit-and-run crash in Birmingham. Dad-of-one Donell Goodall died after being struck by a car on Brandwood Park Road at around 9.25pm, on January 3.
The 25-year-old was rushed to hospital but died three days later. His grieving family said he would always be in their hearts.
West Midlands Police said a silver BMW involved in the crash failed to stop at the scene. A 30-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was bailed while police inquiries continue.

Police said in a statement: “The family of a cyclist who sadly died after being hit by a car in Birmingham have paid tribute.
“Donell Goodall, aged 25, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision on Brandwood Park Road at around 9.25pm on January 3. He tragically died in hospital a few days later.”

In tribute, his family said: “Donell was a family man and for him everything was about his son who is just three years-old. He will be missed by all his family and friends and everyone who knew and loved him.
“Donell was a dedicated fitness fanatic who was fully committed to his family, the gym and his work. Donell was an honest, decent and reliable man. He will always be in our hearts. The family respectfully ask to be allowed the privacy to grieve in private.”
