A Lanarkshire family are heartbroken after the disappearance of a beloved mum-of-two who left home on her mobility scooter and never returned.
Gemma Nash, 32, was last seen in the MacNamee Gardens area of East Kilbride at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, January 7. Her devastated partner, Christopher Connor told of her concerning last words to him before she left “I’ll be back in two days or won’t be back at all.”
The much-loved mum is understood to have went in the direction of Glen Esk greenspace on her blue mobility scooter. She is said to have her phone on her but no cash or bank cards. It is unclear whether Gemma has her medication with her.
Christopher, 38, told Glasgow Live: “Since February last year up until September time, she was bed bound. In the house, she is able to walk about for a period of time but needs a mobility scooter or wheelchair for going out.
“Last year, she had multiple visits to hospital due to her mental health and her levels of pain. I have been to Glen Esk and so did the police but she’s not there.
“I can’t 100% say she has got her medication but it’s not in the house.”
