Weather warnings are in place for snow, ice and rain across Stoke-on-Trent today. An amber weather warning for snow and ice comes to an end at midday today – with a yellow weather warning for the same conditions ending at 11.59pm tonight.
It comes as a yellow weather warning for rain came into force from 6am this morning. It runs until 9pm tonight.
The warning states: “Heavy rain and thawing snow leading to some flooding in places.”
Today’s Stoke-on-Trent weather states: “Today will see cloudy skies and windy conditions with blustery showers drifting in from the south-west. A band of heavy rain will move in later. Tonight will see a band of heavy rain move off to the south overnight leaving a drier night with clear spells. The odd shower is still possible. It will continue windy.”
