CREST has revealed 20 locations where they will be setting up operational mobile speed cameras for the first month of the year. The list showing where the speed-monitoring vans may be found in January 2025 has been published by the Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST).
The locations include various locations from all across Derbyshire including city roads in Derby, such as Raynesway, as well as roads in Glossop, Chesterfield, Church Gresley and Alfreton. While there are quite a few locations in the towns and built-up areas, the cameras will also be posted in and around the edge of the Peak Distr ict, such as Manchester Road in Buxton.
CREST says it publicises the information in a bid to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on Derbyshire’s roads. A spokesperson for CREST said: “Please be aware that we will be at other locations across Derbyshire. Remember, we can’t be everywhere, but we will be somewhere.
