The A14 is closed after a lorry crash in Cambridgeshire on Monday afternoon (January 6). Traffic is stopped while emergency services respond to the crash near Swavesey.
A National Highways spokesperson said: “Traffic is stopped on the A14 in Cambridgeshire westbound between J25 Bar Hill and J24A Boxworth due to a collision involving a HGV. National Highways Traffic Officers are currently on scene, thank you for your patience.”
A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesperson said: “A14 westbound between J25 Bar Hill and J24a Swavesey. Lanes 2 and 3 of 3 are currently blocked due to an RTC.
“Delays are building. Please plan your journey.”
They added that emergency services are at the scene with delays of around four miles. CambridgeshireLive has contacted the emergency services for more information.
