Gardaí have asked the public for help in locating Joe Noonan, 62, who was last seen in the Granagh area of Limerick early on Tuesday morning.
Mr Noonan, who lives in Kilmallock, is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall with grey hair and blue eyes, and was wearing a long grey coat and a black beanie hat when last sighted. He was carrying a backpack at the time and it’s believed that he may have been travelling to the Croom area.
A Garda spokesperson this morning said: “Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 62-year-old Joe Noonan who was reported missing from his home in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick on Wednesday, 8th January 2025.
“Joe was last seen in Granagh in the early hours of Tuesday, 7th January.
“Joe is described as being approximately 5 feet 9 inches in height with a medium build, short grey hair and blue eyes.
“When last seen, Joe was wearing a grey knee length coat and black beanie hat and was carrying a backpack.
“It is believed that Joe may have travelled to the Croom area. Gardaí and Joe’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.”
