Police have arrested a 26-year-old man after they recovered Class A drugs from an industrial estate in Aberdeen.
Officers acted on information and discovered heroin worth an estimated street value of over £6,000 from the Whitemyres Avenue area of the city on Wednesday, January 8.
The man has been charged in connection with drugs offences and was due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, January 9.
Detective Constable Nick Bowyer said: “Drugs cause untold misery in our communities and we work tirelessly to disrupt the drugs trade and protect local people.
“Preventing the sale and supply of drugs remains a key focus for us and with the public’s continued support in providing us with information, we will continue to disrupt such criminality.
