A man has been charged with drugs offences after police searched a stolen Land Rover and BMW. Merseyside Police said officers attended Earle Road in Toxteth at around 3.30pm on Saturday, January 4 as part of their investigations into drug supply.
Officers at the scene found crack cocaine and heroin, as well as a Taser/stun gun inside the stolen vehicles. Leroy Paul Parris, 41 and of Carter Street in Toxteth, was arrested at the scene and later charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, crack cocaine, and possession with intent to supply class A controlled drugs (crack cocaine and heroin).
He was remanded in custody and appeared at Wirral Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, January 6. Detective Sergeant Kieran Connolly said: “Drug dealing gangs have a complete disregard for vulnerable people in our communities. We know the devastation drug addiction can cause and we are relentless in our efforts to put offenders before the courts and take the drugs they peddle out of circulation.”

The arrest came as part of the force’s ongoing Operation Toxic which is part of Project Medusa – a Merseyside-led initiative set up to tackle suspected county lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation across the country.
