A 70-year-old man was seriously injured in a collision on Mount Pleasant on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to the area at around 4.10pm following reports that a black Kia and a black Toyota had been involved in a collision.
The driver of the Toyota, a 70-year-old man, was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We were called to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Mount Pleasant in Hull yesterday (Sunday 12 January).
“It is reported that the driver of a black Kia and the driver of a black Toyota were involved in a collision at around 4.10pm. Emergency services attended and a 70-year-old man travelling in the Toyota was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

“The road was subsequently closed until around 9.20pm to allow for vehicle recovery.
“If anyone witness the incident, has any information or dashcam footage from the time of the incident, please contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 294 of 12 January.”
