Passed away peacefully at Queens Hospital, Burton, on Friday 13th December 2024. Devoted Husband to Nicky, Beloved Dad to Abbey, Sophie, Heather and Joshua and proud Grandad to Darla, Jude and Harrison. Much loved Son of Ann and the late Alan, and Step Son to Roger. Brother to Stuart, Brother in Law, Uncle, Nephew and Cousin. Martin was loved and known by many and those that knew him, will greatly miss him.
Martin’s funeral will take place at Bretby Crematorium, Friday 10th January 2025 at 15:45pm in the Cedar Chapel. Martin requested no flowers, with donations in lieu to be sent to the National Forest, to buy trees, which will live on in his memory. After the service there will be time to share more memories at The Belmont Services Club, Belmont Street, Swadlincote, all are welcome. (Shirley) Passed away peacefully at Stanley House Nursing Home on 17th December 2024. Aged 90 years. (née Wood) Frances passed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital on 15th December 2024. Beloved wife of Jerome and much loved mother of Mary and David. (DFM) Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 10th December 2024 aged 104 years at The Bluebell Park Care Home, Chellaston. Henry worked at Rolls Royce for over 25 years. When retired, he was a Senior Configuration Engineer based at Sinfin Derby. Beloved husband to the late Iris Townsley, much loved father, grandfather, great grandfather and father-in-law. Henry will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
