The National Lottery is on the hunt for a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker winner who is sitting on a ticket worth £1,000,000.
EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker guarantees to create a millionaire in every draw but the lucky winner from the EuroMillions draw on 27 December 2024 has still to check their ticket and claim their prize.
Players in the Wiltshire area are now being urged to check and double-check their unique EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code for the chance to become an instant millionaire. For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket. The winning code on 27 December 2024 was XDQM 36414 and the lucky ticket-holder has until 25 June 2025 to claim their prize.
Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to The National Lottery, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said, “We were all extra busy over Christmas, whether you were celebrating or working, and it would have been easy to forget about a bought ticket in the holiday rush. If you bought a EuroMillions ticket in Wiltshire for the draw on 27 December, it’s time to look everywhere – in the pockets of clothes you might have been wearing at the time, bags, in the car, wallets and purses and in that sideboard or drawer where we all tend to put bits and pieces – and check your tickets.
“Do you live or work in this area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting over the Christmas period or were you just passing through? The festive season is always a busy time of year so maybe the missing ticket-holder hasn’t quite got around to checking their ticket yet?
“We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize – imagine the possibilities for them! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk . Players can also buy and check tickets in retail. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
Playing any National Lottery game is more than just a chance to win; it’s a way to contribute to something much bigger. Each week, players help generate around £30M for National Lottery-funded projects. With over 700,000 grants awarded to date, this funding touches every part of the UK. From supporting the arts and sport sectors, to empowering local community groups and preserving iconic British landmarks, players’ participation makes a difference every single day.
With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket. Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk .
Anyone concerned about lost or unchecked tickets may like to consider either setting up a National Lottery Direct Debit or playing online at www.national-lottery.co.uk . Numbers can be entered in advance and lucky winners are notified online if their numbers come up. For further information call 0333 234 4433 or visit www.national-lottery.co.uk
- Players can contact Allwyn by telephoning the National Lottery Line during its normal operating hours. Alternatively, players can email Allwyn to confirm they intend to claim their prize but this email must be received at help@national-lottery.co.uk no later than the end (before 12 midnight) of the 180 day claim period, and the claim must subsequently be made in person. Please see Game Rules and Procedures for full details of how to claim.
- Under its licence Allwyn has the discretion to pay prizes in respect of stolen, lost or destroyed National Lottery tickets only if the player has submitted a claim in writing within 30 days of the relevant draw. If the player can provide sufficient evidence, Allwyn will investigate and consider the validity of the claim. Allwyn will then determine at its discretion whether the claim is valid and is able to pay the prize 180 days after the draw.
