Kent Police has issued the last captured on camera sighting to date of the missing couple from Gillingham. The force has also renewed its appeal for information, with its chief inspector saying he is “very concerned” about them.
Louis Bond and Rebecca Smallcalder, or ‘Becky’, were reported missing on Monday (January 6) and this CCTV image shows their last known movements on that day. They were captured on camera at around 3.25pm, in Chatham.
They are walking together down the street. Louis, 31, is 5ft 5ins, slim, and has a shaved head. In the image, he is wearing all black clothing, with a distinctive wide zip on the front, and a light woollen hat.
He was previously seen carrying a black rucksack, and wearing a reflective jacket, which police believe he has since discarded.

Rebecca, 26, is 5ft 11ins, with dark hair which she wears in a ponytail. She’s seen in the image wearing a black top, black trousers, black hat and white trainers. She could be carrying a plastic bag and a grey handbag.
Facebook profiles suggest the two started their relationship in at least 2018.

‘Very concerned’
Chief inspector Garry Cook said: “Our enquiries to locate Louis led us to identify that Rebecca had not been seen after leaving work on the same day. We have identified they were together in Gillingham High Street during the afternoon of Monday (January 6) and then later that day around Chatham town centre, where they walked in the High Street in the direction of Rochester.”
“We are very concerned for their welfare and are urging members of the public to contact us if they see either of them.’
