North Yorkshire Police still searching for wanted man with links to County Durham

Police are still searching for a wanted man who may have travelled to the North East five days after appealing to the public to assist in the search.

Callum James Andrew Charlton, of no fixed address, is wanted by North Yorkshire Police for breaching his bail conditions in relation to an assault investigation.

The force have carried out a number of enquiries to find him and on January 2 launched a public appeal to assist in the hunt for the 27-year-old. Now, officers have launched a further appeal in the hunt for Charlton, who has connections to County Durham and Harrogate.

Re-sharing the appeal online, North Yorkshire Police said: “We’re still looking for wanted man Callum James Andrew Charlton, have you seen him?”

Durham Police reposted the original appeal on their Facebook page last week, adding: “Have you seen Callum who is wanted by North Yorkshire Police? The 27-year-old has links to Durham.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101. Those who prefer to remain anonymous can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Anyone who has an immediate sighting of him, should call 999. Please quote reference 12240226836 when passing on information.
