Police have revealed a duo in a black Ford Puma were behind a stabbing in a Coventry street. West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed a young man, who has not been identified but is aged in his 20s, needed trauma care after he was stabbed in Stoney Stanton Road.
Now West Midlands Police has released more details about the stabbing yesterday afternoon (January 6) as officers hunt for the attackers. In a statement, the force has said that the victim was walking along the street when two unknown occupants of a black Ford Puma got out and chased him.
He was then stabbed before he pair fled. The victim is said to have sought safety in a nearby shop and as members of the community stepped in to help.

Now investigating officers want to hear from anyone who was in the area at around 4pm yesterday (January 6). They especially want to hear from anyone who was on the number 21 bus that was in the area.
“We’ve increased patrols in and around the area as our enquiries continue,” a West Midlands Police spokesperson said.
“We’re reviewing all CCTV possibilities and we’re keen to speak with anyone who can assist our investigation. We’re interested in hearing from anybody who was driving through the area and may have dash cam footage.
“We also believe there were people on the number 21 bus who may have seen what happened and potentially captured footage.”
