Plymouth court list: 28 Plymouth men and women face justice

Shoplifters, drink and drug drivers, vandals and speedsters are among those who had attended court his week.

Plymouth Magistrates’ Court will often see family members accompany those put before them, parents, partners and siblings who offer moral support or assure the bench that they will try and keep the offenders out of trouble.

However, it is less common for magistrates to deal with a pair of brothers in the same week, but it happened during the six days the magistrates’ were sitting.

Tommy and Sam Small each have their own list of previous offences to their name, but they appeared on separate occasions this last week – Sam Small received a conditional discharge for stealing a jacket from a shop whereas Tommy was jailed for assaulting an off-duty ambulance technician.
