Police are hunting for the sex beast who raped a teenage girl in a Staffordshire New Year’s Day attack. The 16-year-old was taken into an alleyway by two men before one of them raped her.
She had been walking along Market Place, in Burton, before the attack. It happened at 12.50am on New Year’s Day.
Detective Inspector Shelley Burns said: “Robust efforts are going into this investigation and I can assure the local community that officers are working extremely hard to support the victim and find out more information. We know that a number of people came to the girl’s aid after the incident took place and we’re keen to speak to those we haven’t already about any information they may have, particularly those who were in The Royal Oak pub at the time.”
One of the suspects had a comb over hairstyle with the sides shaved and facial hair. The second suspect was wearing glasses, a black beanie, a red hoodie, and had a moustache.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses. They should call the police on 101, quoting incident number 43 of 1 January, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
