Kent Police say they are ‘very concerned’ for a missing man and woman from Medway who are now thought to be together. Louis Bond and Rebecca Smallcalder were both reported missing from Gillingham on Monday, January 6.
Investigating officers have now confirmed that the pair are in a relationship. They were last seen together in Gillingham High Street at around 2.30pm on Monday.
Louis, 31, is described as being white, 5ft 5ins, of slim build and with a shaved head. When last seen he was wearing a black woollen hat, orange and black workman’s trousers and black boots.
He was carrying a black rucksack and was also wearing a reflective jacket though he is thought to have since discarded this. Rebecca, 26, is white, of slim build, 5ft 11ins and with dark hair which she wears in a ponytail.
When she was last seen, Rebecca was wearing a black top, black trousers, a long grey and white scarf and trainers. She was carrying a plastic bag and a grey handbag. A new CCTV image of Rebecca has been released which can be seen below to help in her identification and location.

Chief Inspector Garry Cook said: “Our enquiries to locate Louis led us to identify that Rebecca had not been seen after leaving work on the same day. We have identified they were together in Gillingham High Street during the afternoon of Monday 6 January.
“We are very concerned for their welfare and are urging members of the public to contact us if they see either of them.” Residents in the Gillingham area including Brompton and the Great Lines are urged to check for relevant CCTV footage.
Meanwhile motorists are also asked to review and dashcam footage. Anyone with information should call 999, quoting reference 06-0983.
