Police searching for young Essex boy who’s been missing for two days

Officers are searching for a 12-year-old boy who has been missing for two days, Essex Police have said in a statement released today (January 8). Alfie Cane, from Orsett, was last seen on Monday (January 6) and police are now appealing to the public for any information to help get him home safely.

Alfie was last seen by his family at about 3pm in Gowers Lane but hasn’t been seen since. He may be in the Orsett area but police say that he also has connections to other places across Essex.

A spokesperson for Essex Police shared: “We believe he may be in the South Ockenden area and also has connections to Dagenham, Harold Wood and Tilbury.”

The 12-year-old is about 5ft tall, with brown hair, and last known to be wearing a plain black Monterex jacket, plain black Nike tracksuit bottoms, and plain Black Nike trainers. He may also be wearing glasses.
