Police urgently appealing to find missing boy who could be in Coventry

Police are urgently appealing to find a missing young boy with links to Coventry. Riley has not been seen for four days, having disappeared on Wednesday (January 8).

Riley, from Fareham, was reported missing when he did not return home from school on Wednesday. Officers have been investigating his whereabouts but have today appealed to the public for help in finding the 12-year-old.

He is described as white, around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, and with short, dark brown hair, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said. While Riley may still be in Fareham, the 12-year-old also has links to Coventry and Basingstoke.

Anyone who sees Riley has been urged to get in touch with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary by calling 999. Information on his whereabouts can be provided on 101.

In a statement issued today (January 12), Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “Can you help us find a missing boy from Fareham? Riley was reported missing on Wednesday (January 8).

“Since then, officers have been making enquiries to try and locate him, but we are also now turning to you for assistance. Riley is described as white, around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, and with short, dark brown hair. He also has a scar on his upper left lip.

“While Riley may still be in Fareham, he also has links to Basingstoke and Coventry in the West Midlands. If you see Riley, then please call 999 and quote the reference 44250010300, and if you have any information on his whereabouts, you can call 101.”
