Scotland’s “darkest ever” home has gone up for sale. The one-of-a-kind property features an entirely black exterior, as well as dark ceilings and furnishings. It is located in the West Lothian town of Broxburn, around 10 miles from Edinburgh.
The home includes a black front door, black fencing, and black decking with a black shed in the back garden. Stepping inside, the stairs, floors, and the majority of the walls and ceilings are black too — as well as the fridge and fittings in the kitchen.
Elsewhere, there are purple accents such as curtains and feature walls. Overall, however, the property has been described as “the UK’s darkest home”.
The sellers describe the three-bedroom semi-detached home as having “a spacious living area and roomy kitchen”. The house also benefits from “additional storage with a good-sized shed and large garage”.
The property is set to go under auction through Prime Property Auctions at a guide price of £195,000. More information can be found on the Prime Property Auctions website.
