More footage has emerged of a violent rampage in a Cornish town just before Christmas. Footage initially circulated of a ‘Santa’ kicked in the head during the brawl in Falmouth.
Devon and Cornwall Police previously launched an appeal to find the victim of the assault on Killigrew Street. Police later confirmed they had identified the man who had been attacked while dressed as Father Christmas.
The victim suffered a kick to the head during the incident, which took place between 1am and 3am on Tuesday, December 17. Police said the violent disorder involved up to 14 people.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police have identified a man they wished to speak to following violent disorder in Falmouth. It follows an earlier appeal from the force.
“Between 1am and 3am on Tuesday, 17 December, an incident took place on Killigrew Street involving up to 14 people.
“Officers are still keen to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident or who may have information that could help enquiries. If you can assist contact police on 101 or via our website quoting 50240320042.”

A further video – which can be viewed at the top of this page – has now emerged showing the extent of the people involved. It depicts several men – not the man dressed as Father Christmas – in a bust up in the middle of the street.
A witness narrates what he sees in the clip. “No, you know, I was trying to order a kebab, right? He, he’s giving me a kebab and then they all rushed out.”
Following the violence and identification of the man who was kicked while on the ground, the force continued to appeal to the public for information on what happened. They were urging witnesses to get in touch.
