Six vehicles broken into in Hersham spree as police launch probe

Six vehicles have been broken into in a crime spree in Hersham. Police have launched an investigation following the incidents on Wednesday (January 8) night.

During the early hours, police say the six vehicles in Cottimore Crescent, Hillary Crescent, Felcott Road and Wolsey Drive were targeted. Thieves got away with a games console and paperwork.

Officers are now reviewing CCTV footage as part of their investigation.

Elmbridge Beat of Surrey Police said: “We are investigating following reports of vehicles being broken into in the #Walton area during the early hours of Wednesday, 8 January. Six vehicles were targeted in #Hersham, specifically in Cottimore crescent, Hillary Crescent, Felcott Road and Wolsey Drive.

“Items taken include a games console and paperwork. Local officers are investigating the crimes by conducting house to house enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage.

“We are appealing for anyone who has been a victim, and has not yet reported it to police, to make contact with us. If you have any information that could assist our investigation, including dashcam or Smart doorbell footage, please sent us a direct message quoting PR45250002822.”
