Police are linking two robberies at convenience stores in a Derbyshire village where it was reported staff were threatened and tills were stolen.
Police say the first robbery happened at around 7.45pm on Wednesday, December 25, Christmas Day, when three men entered the Go Local Store, in The Green, North Wingfield. Officers say a till was stolen and staff were threatened.
The second robbery occurred at the Wingfield Store, Station Road, on Saturday, January 4, at about 5.35pm. This time two men entered and again stole a till, police said.
Police are linking the two robberies and have launched an appeal for information. Officers have released images of men they’d like to speak to in connection with the two incidents.
