Suspect charged after woman attacked by dog in Aberdeenshire village

A woman has been charged following a reported dog attack in an Aberdeenshire village which left another woman in hospital.

The incident took place in the Udny Station area at around 4.10pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

An injured woman was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries following the attack.

Police issued an update this week, confirming a warrant was executed at an address in the Cherry Row area of Udny Station where the dog was seized.

A report is due to be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
