A teenage boy was allegedly chased by a man with a knife in Ramsey on Monday night (January 6). Cambridgeshire Police officers were called to the incident in the town centre at about 8.45pm, and the force is now investigating.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “We were contacted yesterday evening (6 January) with reports a teenage boy had been chased by a man with a knife in Ramsey. The incident happened at about 8.45pm in the town centre.
“The boy managed to flee the area and was unhurt. The suspect was described as a white man in his 60s, roughly 5’10”, with a medium build and wearing a grey hoodie.
“An investigation into what happened is ongoing. Anyone with information should contact police via Cambridgeshire Constabulary’s website using reference 35/1221/25. Anyone without internet access should call 101.”
