Living in an idyllic Essex village may be the dream life for some, but it does have its downfalls. When you get a craving for a cheeky takeaway, the options just aren’t always there.
One Essex takeaway spot is aiming to change this. Temperleys Street Food is a food truck where traditional fish n chips , gourmet burgers and global street food guest dishes inspired from around the world are available.
Based in Essex, the eatery covers the southeast and London predominantly. Temperley’s works with private individuals and event organisers to provide different types of menu, such as gourmet burgers, fish n chips, dirty fries, curries, Mexican, churros and more.

But now, Temperleys Street Food will be offering a brand-new takeaway, bringing “delicious, high-quality gourmet food to different villages in the county”. Villages include Wethersfield, Finchingfield, Blackmore, Great Sampford, Great Bardfield, Shalford and Cornish End.
Specialising in gourmet burgers, fully loaded fries, and fresh fish ‘n’ chips, Temperleys is bringing tasty dishes straight to different obscure villages in the county. “We’re thrilled to launch the app and takeaway service for Temperleys.
“We’ve been fortunate enough to work at many local events and meet some great people in the community who love our food. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for local people to enjoy our food from the comfort of their own homes,” said owner, Jeff Temperley.
In addition to the tasty menu, the takeaway is powered by its very own custom app. The Temperleys Street Food app will allow customers to order directly, skip the queues, and enjoy seamless service. The app is available for download on iOS and Android devices, and will offer features such as easy online ordering, loyalty discounts and a pay it forward scheme.
To celebrate the launch, Temperleys will be offering 10% off all first orders placed through the app during the first month. The takeaway service will officially begin on January 17!
