Three people were injured in a crash on a Black Country road in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, January 9). Two moving cars were involved in the collision as well as a stationary vehicle.
Medics were called to at the junction of Stourbridge Road and Fox Hollies Drive in Halesowen just before 4am where they found two female passengers who were seriously injured. They were both taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
A male passenger from a different car was cared for at the scene before being taken to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital. The driver was assessed at the scene and did not require treatment.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed that they sent three ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic and Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) paramedics to the scene.
They added: “Upon arrival ambulance staff found four patients. Firstly, two women who were passengers in the first car had sustained serious injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
“They received treatment at the scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment. A third patient, a man from the first car was assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious. He received treatment at the scene before he being conveyed to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital for further assessment.”
The spokesperson continued: “A fourth man who was the driver of the second car was assessed and did not require treatment from ambulance staff. He received self care advice before being discharged at the scene.
“No further patients required treatment.”
