A man’s body was discovered in a home following welfare concerns.
Police and paramedics rushed to a property on Windsor Road in Saltburn on Sunday evening after concerns were raised for a man’s welfare. Tragically, the force has now confirmed the body of a 59-year-old man was found inside the terrace property.
Cleveland Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious, a spokesperson said: “At around 8pm last night, police were called by our ambulance service colleagues to an address on Windsor Road in Saltburn where concerns had been raised for a man inside the address.
“Very sadly, the body of a 59-year-old man was discovered inside the property. His death is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner. Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this very sad time.”
A picture taken from the scene shows a police van and a North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) vehicle parked up on either side of Windsor Road at around 8.40pm.
