Two men have been arrested on suspicion of affray after reports of a fight in North London, police say. A video, shared by London & UK Street News on X, shows a group of men swinging at each other with long weapons around a white Mercedes and black BMW parked on Willesden High Road with their hazards flashing.
MyLondon has established the incident took place near the bus garage at the junction of Belton Road, due to the presence of a recognisable estate agency visible in the 23-second video. The Met says the incident happened at around 6:20pm on Saturday (January 4).
At the start of the the footage there appears to be around six men, with two groups of three men in conflict. Two dogs then emerge from the black car, which later drives away from the scene. Towards the end of the clip, one of the men fall to the floor while another swings at him with a long stick. It appears bystanders then rushed to protect the man on the floor.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at about 18:20hrs on Saturday, 4 January to reports of a fight on High Road in Willesden. Officers attended. Two people were arrested on suspicion of affray. Enquiries continue.”
