Police have issued CCTV images of a woman officers would like to speak to after cash was stolen from a woman in Walsall town centre. The theft happened in Park Street at around 10am on Thursday, December 19.
The victim had withdrawn a “significant amount” of money from a cash machine. She then crossed the street to anther shop before the cash was stolen from her handbag.
West Midlands Police today issued an image of a woman the force would like to identify following the incident. A force spokesperson said: “Recognise this woman?

“We’re looking to speak to her after money was stolen from a woman in Walsall just a week before Christmas. At 10am on December 19, a woman withdrew a significant amount of cash from a cash machine in Park Street.
“She then walked across the road to another shop, where the money was taken from her handbag. We’re looking to speak to this person as she may have information which could help with our enquiries.
