West Lothian M9 collision sees road restricted as drivers urged to ‘use caution’

A collision in West Lothian saw emergency services on the scene on Thursday morning.

The incident was first reported at around 7.20am. It happened on the M9 between junctions three and four.

Traffic Scotland urged drivers to ‘approach with caution’ with longer journey times expected. The condition of those involved is not currently known.

Traffic Scotland said: “Junction 4 (EB). One lane RESTRICTED due to a two vehicle collision.

“Road users in the area are advised to approach with caution and expect longer journey times.

“Updates as we get them.”
