Where Kent trains will not run this weekend due to engineering works

Multiple major Kent train lines will close either fully or partially on Sunday (January 12) for planned engineering works. This will impact travel through a number of stations including Maidstone West, Ashford International and Gillingham.

Alongside the planned works, services are also facing disruption along the Hayes line. Damage to the track has been discovered near Ladywell and the necessary repairs require a specialist part to be completed.

As such, Southeastern will be making alterations to services along the Hayes line while works are carried out. Some trains towards London will not stop at Eden Park or New Beckenham during the evening peak period.

Meanwhile, some services from London will also not stop at Eden Park or New Beckenham, though during evening peak periods will call at all stations. Southeastern has said that all journey planners will be updated around 24 hours in advance of travel.

See below for the full details on the engineering works impacting train travel in Kent this weekend.
