A Wolverhampton man has been charged with a number of sexual offences in relation to grooming a child under the age of 16. Joseph Wall, 44, has been charged with five offences connected to grooming a boy online.
The offences were alleged to have taken place between December 3 last year and January 8 this year. Wall was also charged with breaching a sexual harm prevention order.
He was due to appear at Walsall Magistrates’ Court today, January 10. A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’ve charged a Wolverhampton man with a number of sexual offences in relation to grooming a child online.

“Joseph Wall, 44, has been charged with five offences connected to grooming of a boy under 16 years of age. The offences are alleged to have taken place between December 3 last year and 8 January this year.
“He has also been charged with breaching a sexual harm prevention order. He was remanded into custody to appear at Walsall Magistrates’ Court today for a first hearing.
“The arrest was made by a team of officers from the West Midlands Police Major Crime Unit supported by colleagues from the Regional Organised Crime Unit.”
